It seems like they're getting rid of all the Omnipoint plans and other carrier plans that they
have taken over.
Omnipoint??? That's got to go back before year 2000. I was on Omnipoint a few years before that. Had a NYC number even tho I was in Ca. to take advantage of their 29¢ intl roaming for incoming calls. Voicestream took Omnipoint in 2000. TM took them over a few years later and at that time opened operations in Ca. They discontined those intl. rates about a year later - but they let me stay grandfathered in. Then, about 5 years ago or so, had to give up that feature to change to a much better voice plan. This was about the same time TM initiated wifi calling.
Bottom line - had to give up last vestiges of Omnipoint 5+ years ago. That first plan in NYC cost $19.95/mo. and incl. either 50 or 100 minutes. Extra minutes were expensive. Hardly ever used it in U.S.
