LG G3 Visual Voicemail Question

I apologize if this has been said before, as this is my first post.

I purchased a LG G3 sometime in August. I had my number ported over from Sprint, if that makes any significance. My voicemail has not worked, ever. I get prompted with the "Set up a new PIN" stuff, and then I get a message stating that it was incorrect when I do input a new PIN. It is a bit frustrating to receive a new voicemail only to be sent to that "Set up a new PIN" message. I was wondering if there was any way to bypass this issue.
